Wayside provides home-delivered meals to Brooklyn homebound elderly and disable funded by NYC Department for the Aging and City Meals on Wheels six days a week with frozen and emergency food packages for Sundays and Holidays.

You may be eligible for home delivered meals if you are 60 years of age or older. Contact our Outreach Department (929) 234-6333 Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Be prepared to provide the following information: (1) Full name, (2) Complete address (apartment number, zip code, etc.) and phone number (3) Date of birth, and (4) Name, address, and phone number of one person who can be contacted in case of emergency.

The Wayside Out-Reach Development Home Delivered Meals Program has been providing 900 meals a day to Brownsville, Bushwick, Bedford Stuyvesant, Carnarsie, Mill Basin, Ocean Hill and East New York neighborhoods.  Our team of 14 assures home bound seniors and disabled family members receive hot meals six days a week, and a prepared frozen meal for Sundays.   You may relax and take comfort in knowing that Wayside will deliver your meals and access to links to other supportive services you may need to keep you well, healthy, and to help you remain in your home.

Wayside employ caring and dedicated staff and volunteers who experienced and sensitive to the ethnic diversity of elderly served.

 Wayside provides daily hot and frozen meals that consist of regular (non kosher), Kosher, low fat/cholesterol, and low sodium. The drivers and deliverers not only bring a meal, but they also bring a familiar face and warm smile each day.
