WORD Inc. celebrates senior birthdays

Hon. Brooklyn Borough President, Eric Adams, came to WORDnyc Boulevard Senior Center in East New York to celebrate 101st birthday of our long term member (20 years) Ms. Dorris Parris.  Celebrations are just part of our services.  WORDnyc senior centers provide a go to place for seniors, free, right in their neighborhood.  Our Transportation service greets Ms. Parris every morning.  She enjoys congregate lunch with other regulars, Bingo, and special trips to Farmers Markets, theater and casinos.  Our staff are trained to assist senior to get their needs met: case assistance, legal, health, safety and family linkages.
